God Desires All to be Saved (1 Timothy 2:3-4)

Don Johnson, February 28, 2010

Part of the 1 Timothy series, preached at a Sun PM service

Our text today explains why the first duty of Christians is evangelistic prayers - God desires all men to be saved. This does not mean that all men will be saved, but the ministry of the believer in praying for the salvation of the lost is a ministry good and acceptable, a service well-pleasing unto God. It is possible, according to this passage for any man to be saved, whether they will be saved depends on their response to God.
