The Sabbath Controversies ()

Don Johnson, October 18, 2017

Part of the Harmony of the Gospels series, preached at a Wed PM service

Two episodes are covered in this session, the incident where the disciples are criticized for eating grain on the Sabbath and the follow-up where Jesus heals the man with the withered hand. These controversies bring the conflict with the Jews to a boil, launching their plots to destroy Jesus. We learn why they are so intensely against him for these seemingly minor offenses.
