Continuing In Sensation (Acts 8:14-24)

Don Johnson, January 28, 2018

Part of the Acts series, preached at a Sun AM service

We continue looking at Simon Magus. His interest in Christianity centered on the sensational. Was he really a Christian? The Bible doesn't say explicitly, but whatever he was, God (through Peter) offered him the opportunity to repent. He doesn't appear to leap at it. What does this say about modern professions of faith? What kind of Christianity is it when the focus of attention is on having a "good life now"?
