Our Sermons
Christ at the Right Hand of God (Romans 8:34)
Don Johnson, June 17, 2012
Part of the Romans series, preached at a Sun AM service
Today we pick up on a phrase in Rm 8.34, "Christ ... who is at the right hand of God", a phrase that occurs seven times in the epistles. The meaning of this aspect of Christology is that Christ has all power and makes it available to those who are in Christ for victory over sin. We survey the passages where we find the phrase to conclude the exhortation to keep seeking the things above.

Romans 8:34
34 Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. (ESV)
