Our Sermons
Sent by the Father ()
Don Johnson, July 8, 2012
Part of the Communion series, preached at a Sun PM service
The words of our title, or words like them, form a common thread throughout John's Gospel. They convey the idea that Jesus was fully aware of who he was and what he was about in his mission to save men from their sins. In this message, we survey those words and mostly let the text itself speak to us. As he was sent on a mission, equipped with truth, with an aim of saving souls, so too are we, his followers.
