Rom 5.1
As we turn to Romans 5, the focus shifts to the blessings that now belong to the justified. One commentator finds 15 new blessings of salvation in the first eleven verses of the chapter. The first blessing is peace with God, something quite different from the peace of God. What it means for the justified is that the war is over, God’s wrath against the believer is poured out on Christ, never to be aroused again.
