Rm 5.5
As we come to v. 5, we realize that the Christian hope is a major theme of the first five verses. It touches all the new privileges the Christian enjoys as a consequence of justification by faith. Our hope means no condemnation awaits us because we have God’s love lavished upon us by the agency of the Holy Spirit, our Guide, our Comforter, and our Guarantee of eternal salvation.
